How do I care for my serving board?

Use: We do not recommend using your serving board as a cutting board as this will leave scratches and cut marks on the wood and resin. We recommend that you pre cut your food before displaying it on the serving board to ensure a high quality look for years to come!

Care: Your board has been finished with food grade mineral oil, beeswax, and carnauba wax. Included is a small jar of this same finish to be used to maintain and recondition your board. When your board looks a little dry or dull, apply a small amount of wax to a clean cloth and wipe on in the direction of the wood grain. Let the conditioner soak in for 20 minutes, then wipe off any extra and buff the board until it’s no longer oily to the touch. Now your board is back in business and ready for more use!

Cleaning: After use, wash your board with a small amount of soap and water. Wipe dry after washing. Washing removes some of the oil and wax so reconditioning is needed over time. DO NOT submerge your board in water or put it in the dishwasher.

Do you offer shipping or local delivery?

We do! Please reach out via email to us to organize shipping or local drop off on your order. Due to each piece being a different size and weight we do not have flat rate shipping and are still figuring out how to add shipping to the website. Thanks for your patience and support!

How do I care for my coasters?

Our coasters are made from hardwood and epoxy resin and finished with Odie’s Oil. After each use, we recommend wiping off any water droplets that are on your coasters with a dry cloth.

Over time, you may notice your coasters feeling a little drier. This will roughly be after one year of regular use. When this happens, it is time for a little maintenance to ensure your coaster stay looking fresh! We recommend using Odie’s Universal Oil. You can check out their website below for detailed instruction on how to refinish your coasters: https://odiesoil.com/cornwall-finishing-school-module-2/

Will the flowers/plants loose their colour? Can I prevent this from happening?

Over time, all dried flowers and plants will loose some of their vibrancy. It can be hard to give a set time as varies based on the colour and type of plant. To slow down this process, we recommend hanging your ornament or displaying your vase somewhere this is out of direct sunlight. This can ensure that you get to enjoy your flowers for years to come!

My flowers are drooping, what can I do?

Dried flowers will absorb some moisture from their surroundings and this can cause them to droop over time. If you notice your flowers doing this, you can hang the upside down for a week to dry out and straighten their stems. Some flowers are heavier and you can support them with more sturdy flowers by tucking them in to the bouquet if they are still drooping after drying them again.
